About the Naples, North Naples, Olde Naples and Naples Waterfront Real Estate Market
The big news to note in the report this month is that we finally saw evidence of increased activity in the price segment over $1,000,000. Pended sales in this category are up 29% over August 2008, and this is the first month this year to record such an increase. While one month does not a trend make, it is very positive to see this change. If showing activity and buyer interest continues at the current pace, we should see similar results during the remainder of the year.
Another positive sign of the market recovery is decreasing inventory. All price segments in both single family homes and condominiums showed decreases with the exception of condominiums priced between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000, where available product increased over last year by 10%.
